Canine Distemper Virus CDV Antigen Test Kit
Canine Parvovirus(CPV) Antigen Test Card
Rapid Test for the presence of Canine Parvovirus Antigen in canine feces.
PRINCIPLE
This rapid test card is based on “sandwich” method to test the CPV antigen in canine feces. After adding the sample into the sample hole, the CPV antigen in the sample will combine with the specific monoclonal antibody labeled by colloidal gold to become compound. When sample flows through T zone in NC membrane, the specific monoclonal antibody fixed to NC membrane captures the compound and form a visible T line. Unconjugated colloidal gold antibody flows through C zone, to be captured to form visible C line. C line shows the strip is valid. T line shows there is canine parvovirus antigen in the sample.
APPLICATIONS
The PetPal CPV is a rapid test that qualitatively detect the presence of Canine Parvovirus Antigen in canine feces.

SPECIMEN PREPARATION
1. Feces
Use cotton swab to take some canine feces into a sample diluents tube to dissolve the canine feces for 1 minute.
TEST PROCEDURE
1. Use the dropper to take prepared supernatant; Add 3 drops (about 70μl) into the sample hole.
2. Wait for 5-10minutes in the room temperature (20- 25 ℃) to judge the result.
REMARKS: The result over 30 minutes is invalid.
RESULTS INTERPRETATION
POSTIVE (+): C line and T line are both red, which means that there is possible CPV antigen in the sample. It needs to be analyzed combining with clinical method.
NEGATIVE (-): C line is red; T line is invisible which means that there is no CPV antigen in the sample. If CPV acute symptom appears, it cannot be eliminated that CPV infection happens.
INVALID: C line is invisible. Control(C) line is used as a quality indicator, which will always appear regardless of the T line. If Control line does NOT appear, it indicates that the result is invalid. Users should check the kit insert again and re-do the assay with new test strips.
REMARKS: Generally CPV vaccine is a kind of Attenuated vaccine. Hence it can be false positive during 3-10 days after vaccination. Animal treated by Monoclonal antibody may show false positive for a long time, because of the secondary antibodies in animal.
